Interested in learning more about your local trees, but don't know where to begin? New Jersey Tree Academy was designed for garden and hiking enthusiasts to learn about the trees in their local parks in a stress free environment for up to 15 guests. This 2 day course covers all you need to know about 50 of the most common tree species in the mid-Atlantic region and includes 2 digital guidebooks created by Licensed Tree Expert & Princeton Municipal Arborist Taylor Sapudar. As well as tree identification, this course will also cover such topics as:
This 2 Day Course is only available for private bookings.
Day 1: Thursday Evening Zoom Class (6 pm - 8:30 pm)
Day 2: Saturday Morning Field Class (9 am - 11:30 am)
The 2 day course includes a Zoom introductory class on Thursday evening, followed by a Saturday morning* in the field at Veterans Park in Hamilton, NJ. This course is led by License Tree Expert and Princeton Arborist Taylor Sapudar.
*Classes go rain or shine, but in cases of extreme weather the make up date will be on Sunday morning
